UUM welcomed academicians from the BRECIL Project who were on a two-day official visit in conjunction with the Programme for BRECIL Study Tour at UUM which began on 25th March.

The delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Noor Hayaty Abu Kasim from Universiti Malaya involved Gothenburg University, Groningen University, SDI Munich University, National University of Laos and Souphanouvong University.

Coordinator of UUM BRECIL, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hariharan N.Krishnasamy said the two-day visit focused on research governance in developing human capital in Institutions of Higher Learning (IPT), especially in Malaysia and Laos.

"I would like to thank all delegates for making this visit a reality and hopefully this visit will be a starting point for student exchange, research and joint academic activities," he added.
